slayeroffice - web experiments gone horribly awry

10.25.2004 - MODI v1.3

Aaron Barker sent me an update to the Mouseover DOM Inspector this weekend that simply rocks.

His addition to the application shows the node hierarchy of the element, recursivly showing the parent elements of the object up to the HTML element, as well as the width, height, top and left of the object you're hovering over.

Nice work, Aaron!

If the changes aren't showing up for you, clear your browser's cache.

Thanks for the kind words... it's an honor to be able to contribute to your magnificent set of tools. We're talking resume type material here... "I contrbuted to Slayeroffice's Favelet Suite"

I can die happy now. =)

I love the new features! Nice work both of you. BTW, is there any way you could crank up the z-index on the layer displaying all the MODI info? Sadly, at times I run across cases where the z-index of elements on the page is higher so I can't use the tool.

Thanks again for the great tools you produce.

z-index cranked to 1000 from 100. :)

Wow, cool little tool! this really rules.

Maybe an extension for firefox would be even cooler. Maybe as an additional feature for the dom-inspector...
