My first go at graphite in about 12 years. It didn't take nearly as long as a colored pencil drawing, and it was awfully nice to be able to use an eraser. I may stick with it for a little while.
I guess is it like riding a bike you do not lose the touch. I also saw your other drawing of the kids you have a great touch. Some have it and other do not. I took art classes in college and one day the teacher put my drawing on the floor and stomped on them to loosen me up. Said my drawings were too rigid. I was majoring in Architecture and we draw with straight edges what can he expect. Keep up the Charcoals.

Excellent likeness! I like fine-detailed graphite drawings better than colored ones, for some reason.
